Articles Wanted for The Encyclopedia of Genealogy

The Encyclopedia of Genealogy is looking for volunteers and article submissions to flesh out this amazing encyclopedia to help genealogy and family history researchers around the world.

As of 2004, The Encyclopedia of Genealogy had 351 articles. By the end of 2005, they had almost doubled it to 796 articles. The goal is to have 5,000 or more articles covering everything and anything associated with genealogy.

Articles needed include:

  • Information about your local genealogy society
  • Immigration records explained
  • The details of each decade’s census records explained.
  • Individual articles on how to research Italian, German, Polish, French-Canadian, Jewish, Black, Indian and other ancestors

If you are an expert, or very experienced in genealogy research and techniques, consider helping this worthy cause to create a single resource of technical articles, resources, and information for the future genealogy researchers.
